Sturm Gets UD12 Over Lorenzo In Germany-Check Back For Wooly Report
Felix Sturm retained his WBA middleweight crown with a 12-round unanimous decision over Dominican-born New Yorker Giovanni Lorenzo in Cologne, Germany.
The 31-year-old Sturm (34-2-1, 14 KOs) beat the 29-year-old Lorenzo (29-3, 21 KOs) by scores of 117-111, 118-111, 118-111.
It was his eighth title defense.
