Brian Magee, Bryan “The Flyin' Lion” Vasquez On July 30 “KO To Drugs” Card In Costa Rica

Brian Magee will headline a WBA-sponsored “KO to Drugs” event in Costa Rica on July 30 at the National Gym in San Jose. Magee (34-4-1; age 35; from Ireland) will battle Jaime Barboza (17-4) for a vacant 168 pound title.
Prospect on the cusp of contenderhood Bryan “The Flyin' Lion” Vasquez (26-0; native of Costa Rica) will meet Mexico's Jose Manuel Osorio (22-2) for a Latin title.
Also, Elvin Perez (21-4; living in Costa Rica) will fight Juan Ruiz (8-0; from Venezuela).
The vice-president of the WBA, Gilberto Mendoza Jr, was in Costa Rica on Wednesday making the announcement.
The fight will be transmitted live on Channel 33 in Costa Rica and streamed live at www.boxingchannel.tv.
