Martinez To Be Evaluated By Docs In A Few Weeks
WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez has until December 15th to clarify his medical situation, determining if he's medically fit to fight.
Martinez began the rehab on his knee last week. It'll be evaluated by the doctors next month, to decide if he can fight in the first trimester of 2014.
Regarding his left hand, his agent and mentor Sampson Lewkowicz said it's totally recovered.
“We hope we can annnounce the day of the fight next month. We agreed with the WBC and with Marco Antonio Rubio’s promoters to do this on December 15th,” Lewkowicz concluded.
