Tarver-Hopkins Done Deal
For those who really and truly care, negotiations for the bout between Antonio Tarver and Bernard Hopkins have been officially completed between Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions. Both parties came to terms on the fine points of the contract over the weekend. The fight called “Fight To The Finish” – presumably a nod and a wink toward this [maybe] being Hopkins’ final match – will take place at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City and broadcast by HBO Pay-Per-View … naturally. Tarver-Hopkins will be formally announced in New York City on March 21.
