Adrien Broner Out of Jail, Out With “Slammer”
Boxer Adrien Broner was released from a 10 day stay in the Ohio State Penitentiary system on April 22nd. The boxer was arrested after a probation violation, and he also made the news in early April when warrants were issued for his arrest on felony robbery and assault charges. Those charges are still pending and since his release three weeks ago, Broner has kept a relatively low profile, tweeting the following upon his release:
This is what I missed the most #Family @misslouiebags #Aalayah #Adrioen #DaddyHome https://t.co/rb5y25XRUL
— Adrien Broner (@AdrienBroner) 22 de abril de 2016
Broner has also been working on music and on his “About Billions” brand. Two days after his release he was spotted at a “Krush Groove” concert in Los Angeles. He also did an interview with boxing reporter Elie Seckbach where he revealed that his beef with Floyd Mayweather Jr is still not resolved. Broner had a much documented “break-up” with his former mentor around his most recent fight against Ashley Theophane this past April.
Well, earlier today Broner launched the next “salvo” in his battle with Mayweather and TMT as he has released a new music video where he raps about the conflict. The video is called “Slammer (Panda Freestyle)” (Floyd Mayweather /TMT Diss).
The video Broner put out is on YOUTUBE and had about 100,000 views in less than 24 hours. Not quite “viral” but certainly the Adrien Broner infection is out there. check it out.
No word on a reaction yet from the Mayweather camp, but with The Money Team and Mayweather Promotions working on this weekend’s 154 lb title triple-header at the Cosmopolitan that is set to air on Showtime you can forgive them for missing the video’s debut.
Broner has stated that he will be fighting at welterweight next, but no word on a date or future opponent is available.
