Al Bernstein Hosts Showtime Year-End Show
Hall of Fame Boxing Announcer Al Bernstein closes out his broadcast year when he serves as host of “The Best of Showtime Boxing 2012” airing on SHOWTIME at 10:30 EST and PST on Saturday, December 29.
The show looks back on the great matches and compelling stories on Showtime Boxing in this past year. It also includes a panel discussion about 2012 featuring Al and his Showtime announcing colleagues Steve Farhood and Mauro Ranallo. “It was fun looking back at some of the terrific fights and boxers that we have had this year on Showtime,” Al said. He added, “We have had upsets, wild action fights, great performances by fighters, and some amazing personal stories. This show does justice to all that as a review of this exciting year of boxing on Showtime.”
