Boxing Odds – Roman vs. Cruz for WBC Super Bantamweight Title September 13!
Leo Santa Cruz remains undefeated for his career and has won the IBF bantamweight title along with the WBC super bantamweight title belt and has successfully defended the WBC belt twice. Leo “Teremoto” Santa Cruz will take on Manuel “Suavecito” Roman for the WBC super bantamweight title at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on September 13. Cruz opened as a prohibitive -10,000 favorite with Roman as a +1600 dog with the Boxing odds.

Roman is coming off a six round unanimous decision win over Jose Silveria on May 15, 2014 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California, USA.
Leo Santa Cruz
The 26 year old Leo Santa Cruz stands at five feet seven inches tall with a reach of 69 inches and fights from an orthodox stance. Santa Cruz is a native of Huetamo, Michoacan de Ocampo, Mexico and now resides in Rosemead, California, USA. Cruz has a career record of 27 wins, no losses and one draw with 15 out of his 27 wins coming by knockout. He is the top ranked super bantamweight in Mexico and is ranked second in the world. Santa Cruz is coming off a unanimous decision win over Cristian Mijares in a 12 round bout that took place on March 8, 2014 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The win was Santa Cruz’s second consecutive title defense win of his WBC super bantamweight title. Santa Cruz originally won the WBC super bantamweight belt on August 24, 2013 with a knockout win over Victor Terrazas in the third round of a scheduled 12 round bout.
