NOTE: WEIGHTS (March 18, 2011) – Unbeaten International Boxing Federation (IBF) Super Middleweight Champion Lucian Bute weighed in at 167.6 pounds and his opponent, former European titleholder Brian Magee, tipped the scales at 167.7 just one day before their SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING bout on Saturday, March 19 LIVE on SHOWTIME® at 10 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast) from Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
The hometown favorite Bute (27-0, 22 KOs) will be making the seventh defense of his 168-pound crown against Magee (34-3-1, 24 KOs), who hails from Belfast, Ireland.
The telecast will begin with the rebroadcast of the March 12 action-packed SHOWTIME PPV® fight between World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Welterweight champion Miguel Cotto and Ricardo Mayorga.
