Gary Shaw Signs James Kirkland
TOTOWA, NJ (March 7, 2006) – Promoter Gary Shaw announced today the signing of undefeated jr. middleweight sensation James Kirkland to an exclusive promotional agreement with Gary Shaw Productions, LLC (www.garyshawproductions.com).
The 21-year-old southpaw, 11-0 (9 KOs), from Austin, TX., carries dynamite in both hands.
“I’m just glad he’s on my side!” exclaimed Shaw. “James is the future of the 154 and 160-pound divisions. Boxing fans all over the world will soon know what Texas boxing fans already know: James is fast on the draw and powerfully accurate with his punches.”
Co-managed by Cameron Dunkin and Michael Miller, Kirkland will be looking to make his GSP debut in the spring.
