Wall to Wall Coverage of Agbeko-Mares
The Boxing Channel, the only all-video internet channel completely devoted to boxing coverage, will again provide wall to wall coverage of an important fight, when Hall of Fame Boxing Broadcaster Al Bernstein serves as lead reporter for the August 13th fight between Joseph Agbeko and Abner Mares.
All coverage can be seen at www.boxingchannel.tv
At stake for both fighters are Agbeko's IBF title belt and also the championship of the Showtime Bantamweight tourney. The Boxing Channel will cover both the August 12th weigh-in and post fight press conference for the fight to be held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The undercard also features prospects Carlos Molina and Luis Ramos Jr.
Bernstein, who will be joined by Trip Mitchell on the coverage team, will also be ringside announcing the match for Showtime networks. Al says this could be a fight of the year candidate: “This year already has a crowded field of fight of the year candidates, but this one could be in the running. Agbeko is almost impossible to knock out and both he and Mares have a high work rate–so you really expect plenty of rounds in this fight–all with plenty of action.”
The Boxing Channel is currently showing an in depth look at the Mares training camp and also a preview of the fight with Al Bernstein's keys to victory. All this can be seen at www.boxingchannel.tv
