HBO To Show Mayweather-Ortiz Next Saturday, Sept. 24

It’s a special edition of WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING® when HBO Sports presents FLOYD MAYWEATHER VS. VICTOR ORTIZ, the exclusive replay of their welterweight showdown, this SATURDAY, SEPT. 24 at 9:45 p.m. ET/ PT on HBO.  The HBO Sports team, which was ringside for the live event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, calls all the action.  The replay will be available in HDTV.

Mayweather, one of the sport’s most celebrated superstars, and Ortiz, a rising sensation, met in a welterweight title mega-fight on Saturday, Sept. 17.  The showdown was carried live on HBO Pay-Per-View®.

For the first time ever, the exclusive HBO replay will include new bonus footage of 24/7 that was shot by the Emmy-Award®-winning production team during fight week in Las Vegas.
