Hearns-Sturm Will Run On ESPN3.com
NEW YORK, NY (Feb 18, 2011) – On Saturday night in Stuttgart, Germany, one of the most famous names in middleweight history will go for gold when Ronald Hearns, the son of famed of former two-time middleweight champion Tommy “The Hitman” Hearns, battles Felix Sturm for the WBA middleweight Super Championship.
“The one thing that was not lost from generation to generation was the devastating right hand,” said Lou DiBella, the President of DiBella Entertainment, Hearns’s promoter. “I believe that once Ronald lands that right hand, we will be crowning a new WBA champion.”
Fight fans in the United States are in luck, as the bout will be televised live on ESPN3.com. The telecast is scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM ET.
