Iran Barkley Is Homeless…Can You Help?

Hello Friends of Iran,

On Sunday November 21, 2010 Iran Barkley had a great 2 page article written in The NY Post. If you have not purchased it yet, please try and pick it up. The writer, (Candice Giove) is trying to bring awareness about this former American Champ, and how his life is today. This writer has done a wonderful job on Irans article, all of the Champs friends should reach out to her and to The post to just say Thank you! If anyone you know would like to make a donation, I want to assure you it will help Iran with housing and food. Matt Farrago the former Ring 8 President and now new President of: V.B.A., (Veterans Boxers Association) along with me, will make sure any money coming in will go towards housing first then food for Iran Barkley. Everyone receiving this e-mail please know that we want Iran to help himself and he is not being babied but he needs housing, food and a job, he is 100% on board with this goal! Ir an knows from us that he must step up to the plate now and work and make his own living but I want all of us just to help get him started! Will you join me with this?

Iran flies in today to Newark Airport, he has been with Tommy Hearns in England at an autograph convention to make a few dollars. He still does not have a place to sleep as of this e-mail. His only possessions are locked up in my office. If any of you reading this e-mail can offer anything: money, food, shelter, etc… please e-mail me or call me at 718-823-5083.
