Andrade, Pryor on weight for Friday night Solo Boxeo Tecate Showdown
Indio, CA (May 5, 2011) – Super middleweight contenders Librado Andrade and Aaron Pryor, Jr. looked ready for battle as they weighed in for their Friday night clash in the main event of Solo Boxeo Tecate from the Fantasy Spring Casino in Indio, CA. Andrade (29-3, 22 KOs) came in a fit and trim 169.2 lbs., while Pryor (15-3, 11 KOs) tipped the scales at 170.6 lbs.
For Pryor, the son of boxing great Aaron “Hawk” Pryor, this marks his third fight under the DiBella Entertainment banner, and the most significant battle of his nearly six year career.
“I am excited to be here,” said Pryor, Jr. “This is a great opportunity for me. I am ready to put on a boxing clinic.”
Andrade vs. Pryor Jr. is presented by Golden Boy Promotions in association with DiBella Entertainment and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate. Doors open at 6:00pm PT on fight night and the first bell rings at 7:00pm PT. The TeleFutura broadcast begins at 11:30pm ET / PT (10:30pm CT).
