Malignaggi and Judah Talk About Dec. 7 Clash
One of the two is quite likely going to have a better holiday than the other. Hell, even if we see a draw Dec. 7 at Barclays Center, a lump of coal sort of decision, both Paul Malignaggi and Zab Judah, who meet in a Battle of Brooklyn tussle in BK, would head into the holiday season with their zest dampened.
I won’t go as far as to say that this is a loser-must-retire match. C’mon, we know this sport, that it takes many moons, usually, to build up a name in the business, and once you have a name, as both these gents do, then doors of opportunity continue to be opened for you…maybe even longer than is healthy for you.
Check out this promo video of both men talking about their path to here, and why this fight matters. We haven’t heard any heated trash talking from to men who can sling it and bring it when it comes to verbal warfare. Instead, Paulie offers a contemplative side (“A loss to Zab in this fight would be two in a row. It would put things into perspective and make me think about things for my future.”) while Zab sounds like a proud vet wanting to prove a point (“I’m still a force to be reckoned with.”)
