Mike Tyson on “In This Corner” Monday June 6
One of the most controversial heavyweights in boxing history, Mike Tyson, joins TSN boxing expert Russ Anber and host Darren Dutchyshen for an exclusive radio interview on IN THIS CORNER With Russ Anber on Monday, June 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET (encores June 8 at 2 PM/ET and June 10 at 12:30 AM/ET).
Tyson discussing his upcoming fight against Ireland’s Kevin McBride and his preparation for the fight with legendary Australian trainer and former three-time world titleholder Jeff Fenech. Tyson will also talk about his recovery from a severe knee injury he sustained in his last match against Danny Williams, as well as his thoughts on where he currently ranks in the heavyweight division.
During the show, Troy Ross, Canada’s newly crowned cruiserweight champion, and 1998 Commonwealth Games gold medalist Mark Simmons also join Anber and Dutchyshen to discuss their roles in this summer’s highly acclaimed feature length boxing flick “Cinderella Man,” starring Russell Crowe as Jim Braddock, the Depression-era pugilist who defeated heavyweight champion Max Baer in 1935.
The show includes highlights of undefeated Canadian up-and-comer Lucian Bute’s NABA super middleweight title defense against Jose Spearman, as well as a look at WBC and IBF light welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu’s bout with Ricky Hatton.
