Moscow’s VTB Arena Dec. 12th – Russian Roy vs British Enzo
This Saturday night in Moscow, Russia promoter Umar Kremlev presents newly minted Russian citizen Roy Jones Jr. (62-8) as he faces England’s Enzo Macarenelli (40-7) in a twelve round Cruiserweight bout.
Jones Jr. is now 44 years old, and the former pound-for-pound great is looking to earn a world title in a fifth weight class to cement his legacy.
Jones Jr. a former American Olympic Gold medalist, became a Russian citizen earlier this year to simplify doing business in that country, and Russian President Vladimir Putin is heavily rumored to be planning to see the fight live.
