MSG Will Show Algieri-Jargal
MSG TO RE-BROADCAST ALGIERI/JARGAL
CLASH AT 10 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT
NEW YORK, NEW YORK (January 24, 2012) Just days ahead of his upcoming return this Saturday, January 28th at the Paramount Theater in Huntington, Long Island, undefeated junior welterweight Chris Algieri will be featured on the MSG network with a replay of his clash with Bayan Jargal from this past November 19th.
The re-broadcast will air on Wednesday, January 25th at 10 p.m. and on Thursday, January 26th at 1 p.m. on MSG +.
Additional Comcast networks across the country will also be re-airing the fight this week.
In front of a sold out hometown crowd, Algieri looked sensational, skillfully boxing his way to a dominant ten round decision against the heavy handed Jargal as he raised his record to 12-0 with six knockouts.
Presented by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing, this Saturday night, Algieri will face off against rugged Atlanta, Georgia based veteran Curtis Smith in the main event of the ROCKIN’ FIGHTS professional boxing card.
“This is a great opportunity for fans who weren’t at Chris’ terrific win over Bayan Jargal in November to view the fight and catch a glimpse of what they’ll see this Saturday night at the Paramount Theater” said DeGuardia. “Chris is a rising star in the sport of boxing and Saturday night kicks off off his 2012 campaign.”
Advance tickets for ROCKIN’ FIGHTS, priced at $35, $50 and $100 can be purchased in advance by calling Star Boxing at (718) 823-2000, or visiting the Star Boxing website, www.StarBoxing.com.
