“The Fight Game” Saturday To Focus on Judging
THE FIGHT GAME WITH JIM LAMPLEY, HBO SPORTS® BOXING PROGRAM HOSTED BY FOUR-TIME SPORTS EMMY® WINNER, RETURNS WITH A NEW LIVE EDITION SATURDAY, JUNE 16
THE FIGHT GAME WITH JIM LAMPLEY is a provocative, engaging and informative experience that delves into intriguing storylines, newsmakers and issues that are top-of-mind in boxing. The program returns for its all-new, second installment of the year live from the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Tex. debuting SATURDAY, JUNE 16 (midnight-12:30 a.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. Four-time Sports Emmy® winner Lampley has been the host of HBO Boxing since joining the network in 1988.
Other HBO playdates: June 18 (8:30 a.m., 1:00 a.m.), 22 (5:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m.), 24 (11:30 a.m.), 26 (noon, 10:15 p.m.) 28 (7:30 p.m., 1:10 a.m.) and 30 (9:30 a.m.)

“Scoring a Fight” will be the single hot-button topic and focus of the new edition. In the aftermath of the controversial split decision victory awarded to Timothy Bradley over Manny Pacquiao last Saturday in Las Vegas, THE FIGHT GAME WITH JIM LAMPLEY will go wall-to-wall with a comprehensive examination of ringside judging. Lampley will explore in depth what happened last week and offer insight and perspective on judging disputes and potential solutions.
The debut of this all-new edition of THE FIGHT GAME WITH JIM LAMPLEY will immediately follow the telecast of the middleweight title showdown between reigning title-holder Julio Caesar Chavez, Jr. and rising star Andy Lee from the Sun Bowl. The evening of boxing programming starts with the exclusive replay of Pacquiao-Bradley at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
