Quick Robert Guerrero Update…WOODS
Robert Guerrero was slightly crushed when he injured his left shoulder ten days before he was scheduled to fight Marcos Maidana in San Jose. But the California boxer tells TSS his shoulder is healing up, post surgery, and he expects to get back in the ring fairly soon.
“I had surgery a month ago,” he said. “Now I'm strengthening the shoulder. The first four weeks I was stretching it, now I'm strengthening. I'm playing it by ear but i'm hoping to get back to fighting in February or March.”
Will he take a rust-shedder or aim for the big boys straight off?
“Deep water, I'm ready to swim with the sharks. I want to fight the best. Hopefully, the best are willing to get in the ring with me.”
