Quigg vs Frampton – Weigh-in Results From Manchester
Quigg vs Frampton – The weigh-ins are in the books at the Manchester Arena in the United Kingdom, and the 10 fight card co-promoted by Eddie Hearn and Barry McGuigan is on for Saturday night.
The weigh-ins took place in a charged atmosphere that saw main event fighters Scott Quigg and Carl Frampton face to face for the last time before Saturday night’s fights. Both men came in under the 122 lb limit, as Frampton tipped the scales at 121.7 lbs to Quigg’s 121.6 lbs. There was a lot of tension in the air as both men met for the staredown while the crowd cheered and sang fight songs.
The undercard features three other 12 round title bouts and the live event features 10 fights in all. The featured fights are set to air on SKY Box Office in the UK and the Quigg vs Frampton scrap will also air on Showtime Extreme in the United States. Check your local listings.
Also at Super Bantamweight, undefeated Gavin McDonnell (14-0-2) faces undefeated Jorge Sanchez (15-0) with the vacant WBC Silver title on the line.
At Featherweight, Isaac Lowe (11-0-1) faces Marco McCullough (14-2) with the vacant Commonwealth title on the line.
And the last twelve rounder sees Light Heavyweights Hosea Burton 914-0) and Miles Shinkwin (12-0) clash for the vacant British title.
In a 10 round bout for the vacant WBCInternational title, Bantamweights Ryan Burnett (12-0) and Anthony Settoul (21-4) face each other.
At Flyweight, the vacant WBC International Silver title is going home with the winner of Charlie Edwards (6-0) and Luke Wilton (16-4-1).
