Gennady Golovkin will look to do that again, on October 17, at Madison Square Garden, the big room, a source tells me.

The fighting pride of Kazahkstan, Triple G, will likely face off against another battering ram of a human being, model-faced smasher David Lemiuex, a Canadian with a similar mindset bent on destruction. He owns power in both hands and a driven desire to put opponents to sleep.

Fireworks are virtually guaranteed here; the possible scrap would be offered on pay-per-view, from the HBO team.

K2 and Golden Boy and Lemieux’ people, Eye of the Tiger, would help put it all together.
