Ricky Hatton Makes Weight
Hatton and Senchenko made weight Friday ahead of their Saturday clash (Mark Robinson-Showtime)
NEW YORK (Nov. 23, 2012)—Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton and Vyacheslav Senchenko made weight comfortably on Friday in advance of their 10-round welterweight main event bout set for tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 24, on a special evening edition of SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING®, live on SHOWTIME® at 5 p.m. ET/PT from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
Both men weighed 146 ½ pounds or 10 Stone, 6 Pounds, 10 Ounces as it was announced at Manchester Town Hall in Albert Square in central Manchester before a throng of frenzied Hatton fans.
Hatton, a former two-time World Champion and British superstar returns to SHOWTIME® on Saturday for his first fight in 3½ years.
