Rossy Headlines Jan. 25 Card With “KO Malnutrition” Component
Heavyweight Derric Rossy is looking to make on last push toward prominence, and the 28-7 hitter will glove up in Atlantic City, at the Golden Nugget, on a card put together by promoter Sal Musumeci.
The boxer last gloved up on June 8, losing a UD to vet Fres Oquendo. This bout and card came to my attention when a friend alerted me to one of the sponsors of the event, Rosie Pierri, who’s featured on The Real Housevives of New Jersey. She’s apparently a believer in a glyconutrient product made by the company Mannatech which is touted as a superb option to feed malnourished children.
One of the Mannatech crew, Bob Pagnotta, told me that he’s hoping Pierri’s involvement will draw some buzz to the Mannatech line, and he’s hoping many of the fight fans who’ll see Rossy meet TBD will have an open mind about Mannatech.
Also, he said, every time someone buys a Mannatech product, the company provides a meal to a hungry child. Mannatech, he explained, is multi-level sales organization, and a publicly traded stock.
“KO Malnutrition,” said Pagnotta, will be the rallying cry for the Mannatech campaign to be on display in AC.
