Sanchez Beats Herrera on Solo Boxeo – Woodland, Calif. (December 16, 2011) – Earlier tonight, northern California fight fans were treated to an explosive night of boxing at the Woodland Community Center in Woodland, Calif.. The six fight card was presented by Don Chargin Productions and Golden Boy Promotions in association with Paco Presents and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate and AT&T. Next week’s edition of “Sólo Boxeo Tecate” will be a special Classics edition with a look back at some of 2011’s most memorable fights. The Classics will revisit September 2 when Eloy Perez defended his NABO Junior Lightweight title with a second round knockout win over Daniel Jimenez in Salinas, two fights that took place on August 26 in Chicago where Frankie Gomez won an eight-round majority decision over Adrian Granados and Omar Figueroa won via a second round technical knockout over Marcos Herrera and Luis Ramos Jr.’s March 18 majority decision win over Jose Hernandez in Costa Mesa. The TeleFutura broadcast begins at 12:30am ET/PT.
