Top Level Boxing, MMA In Costa Rica
World class boxing comes to Costa Rica on Friday, Dec. 5, when Roberto Garcia takes on Humberto Aranda in a middleweight scrap. The 24-2 Mexican Garcia has a glowing record but the 37-15 Aranda holds the experience edge (he’s fought Kermit Cintron and Raul Marquez) and being a Costa Rica native, he’ll have the crowd on his side.
Also, fans of the sweet science will get more bang for their buck, as Ferrid Kheder (7-4) takes on Alejando Solano (6-3) in a welterweight mixed martial arts bout.
The action kicks off at 8 PM and unfolds at Villa Olimpica in Desamparados, CR.
Twelve bouts, 10 MMA, two boxing, are scheduled. The event kicks off at 9 PM (EST) and readers can watch for free on theboxingchannel.com and canaldeboxeo.com.
