Would Team Klitschko Like To Respond To Fury’s “Devil Comes Home” Rant?
He is working hard on hyping the fight, is Tyson Fury.
He stirred the pot mightily with an off the rails chat with the UK Daily Mail. In that piece, the 6-9 hitter declared he thinks the end of the world is near, and that his Nov. 28 foe is a satanist, and that the progress made in acceptance of homosexuality and what he perceives is the permissiveness of pregnancy termination services, coupled with what he believes to be a creeping mainstream acceptance of pedophilia, indicates the end of civilization as we know it.
Hey, points, I guess, for making waves and getting some focus on the fight, with his “the devil comes home” diatribe, no small feat being that most folks think that Wladimir Klitschko hasn’t lost in ten years, and won’t be tasting defeat on Nov. 28.
I did wonder, though, if Klitschko had a response to the Fury flight of philosophical fancy. So I reached out to a Klitschko rep, asking if Wlad would like to respond. A team Klitschko member told me, “These embarrassing comments don’t need further statements from an intelligent person like Wladimir…… Religious extremists in certain countries express the same rude barroom cliches…..Maybe Fury should move to Saudi Arabia!”
Well put…
To be clear, but of course I support Fury’s freedom of speech..and my right to declare much of what he said poppycock. Folks, he’s implying that he thinks homosexuality should be made ILLEGAL. Um, yes, I’d brand that homophobia, and hateful. That aside, I haven’t changed my thoughts on the bout. He’s tall and willing, but Wlad is a superior technician, and will capitalize on balance issues and defensive lapses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMGK3wELNiE (37:56)

I do think a Wlad KO will be enjoyed by those who don’t care for Fury’s trash talking, and those who think he just talked his way into a title shot, and that his skills don’t merit the opp. And that some of his views are vile and bigoted and backward and that he deserves comeuppance for espousing them…
