24/7 Martinez-Chavez Jr. Debuts Saturday on HBO

24/7 CHAVEZ JR./MARTINEZ DEBUTS SEPT. 1
HBO Sports’ groundbreaking “24/7” reality franchise, which has captured 16 Sports Emmy® Awards, returns for its 15th boxing installment with 24/7 CHAVEZ JR./MARTINEZ. The two-part series follows the participants in one of boxing’s most heated showdowns as they prepare to determine middleweight supremacy with an intriguing pay-per-view showdown on Sept. 15.
Episode # 1
Debut: SATURDAY, SEPT. 1 (11:45 p.m.-12:15 a.m. ET/PT)
Other HBO playdates: Sept. 2 (10:30 a.m.), 3 (midnight), 5 (12:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m.), 7 (3:30 p.m.), 14 (6:00 p.m.) and 15 (10:30 a.m.)
HBO2 playdates: Sept. 2 (6:15 p.m.), 4 (11:30 p.m.), 7 (3:25 a.m.) 14 (11:00 p.m.) and 15 (7:00 p.m.)
HBO On Demand availability begins: Sept. 5.
The series will also be available on HBO GO.
As Sergio Martinez (49-2-2, 28 KOs) trains in Oxnard, Cal., middleweight titleholder Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-0-1, 32 KOs) trains nearby in Los Angeles and is visited by his famous father.
Episode #1 immediately follows an HBO Boxing After Dark doubleheader Saturday at 9:45 p.m. ET/PT.
The finale of 24/7 CHAVEZ JR./MARTINEZ debuts Saturday, Sept. 8 (12:30-1:00 a.m.), one week before the bout.
“Chavez Jr. vs. Martinez” takes place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 9:00 p.m. (ET)/6:00 p.m. (PT), and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View®.
