Watch Dierry Jean Friday on the Boxing Channel
Top 140 pound world contender Dierry Jean takes a step on to boxing's center stage on Friday, October 26th at 7 PM EST when a world wide audience can see him battle tough Ivan Cano on a live webcast on The Boxing Channel.
Ranked 5th by the WBC, the undefeated Jean has stamped himself one of the most talented contenders in the red hot 140 pound division. This match will be the first chance for this Quebec, Canada product to impress a world wide audience as the main event on a six fight card that will be live streamed exclusively on www.boxingchannel.tv.
The card is promoted by Eye Of The Tiger Management.
International Boxing Hall Of Famer Al Bernstein, also Executive Producer of The Boxing Channel, will call the action with talented Canadian broadcaster Corey Erdman. Bernstein said, “Jean is an exciting, action fighter with superb skills, and Cano (21-4) is a powerful and rugged battler. This is an excellent match. If Jean gets to a world title match after this, he will have earned it.”

The card will also feature undefeated lightweight prospect Ghislain Maduma taking on Sidney Siquera and former Canadian amateur phenom TylerAsselstine taking his 10-0 pro record into a match with Ramiro Campos. Another decorated Canadian amateur, lightweight Steve Wilcox, will also be seen on this live webcast on The Boxing Channel.
