Saturday will be loaded with boxing.

From the morning until the night, world champions will collide from the emerald isle to the casino capital of the world. Plan for a long day of prizefighting.

A rematch of two of the greatest female warriors Katie Taylor (22-1, 6 KOs) and Chantelle Cameron (18-0, 8 KOs) takes place on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 3M Arena in Dublin, Ireland. DAZN will stream the Matchroom Boxing card around 11 a.m. Pacific Time.

Taylor is looking to avenge her only loss. Cameron seeks to substantiate her superiority.

“I expect a better Katie Taylor, she needs to win against me so she can put it to bed. So I am making sure that I am lot better,” said Cameron the undisputed super lightweight champion. “I’ve got to be spiteful, go back to the old ways where I am a bit more aggressive.”

For Taylor she returns to Ireland for redemption.

“I’m very grateful to have the chance for a rematch, not every fighter gets this opportunity, so I am grateful I get the chance to rectify things,” said Taylor the pride of Ireland.

Also, on the Matchroom card, is Irish slugger Gary Cully an extremely tall lightweight looking to return to the win column. And Australia’s Skye Nicholson (8-0) the top rated featherweight matched against Sweden’s tough Lucy Wildheart (10-2).

Las Vegas

Two of the best super middleweights not named Canelo clash in the casino capital.

Undefeated David Benavidez (27-0, 23 KOs) and undefeated Demetrius Andrade (32-0, 19 KOs) meet on Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Showtime pay-per-view and PPV.com will cover the TGB Promotions card.

Both yearned to fight the big dog Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, the undisputed super middleweight world champion. But the Mexican redhead has sought matchups to make big money like Jermell Charlo and Gennady “GGG” Golovkin.  However, whoever wins this battle of the undefeated super middleweights surely becomes marketable.

Canelo loves big money fights.

On one side, Benavidez has become the most powerful of the super middleweights with his speed, power and height. His nickname the Mexican Monster suits him perfectly.

“He’s not an easy opponent. He’s very technical. He has very good defense. But I always find a way to win and Saturday night is not going to be any different. I’m going to find a way to beat him,” said Benavidez of Andrade.

On the other side, Andrade has long been the southpaw technician whose defensive prowess coupled with height and quickness has become boxing’s Rubik’s Cube.

“I’ve been patiently waiting and this is the greatest fight that can be made at 168 pounds right now. We’re two fighters who are willing to make it happen. No fuss, no fight. I’m just ready to go. It’s war time,” said Andrade.

The winner definitely becomes the fans choice to face Canelo.

The entire boxing card is stacked with fighters from the Premier Boxing Champions stable looking to fulfill contractual obligations for the year. A dozen matches are planned. Brings back memories of Don King’s day-long fight cards a couple of decades ago.

Among the standouts are the super lightweight clash between Shohjahon Ergashev (23-0, 20 KOs) the undefeated southpaw from Uzbekistan and Puerto Rico’s Subriel Matias (19-1, 19 KOs). That has dynamite written all over it.

Jermall Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs) returns to the prize ring after more than two years and faces Jose Benavidez (28-2-1, 19 KOs) the older brother of David Benavidez. It’s an intriguing match between two very emotional and vocal pugilists.

Former world champion Sergey Lipinets (17-2-1, 13 KOs) clashes with stylish Dominican super lightweight Michel Rivera (24-1, 14 KOs). It’s another matchup of completely different fighting styles.

There are about nine other bouts planned that feature talented fighters ranging from featherweights to super middleweights.

Legendary Jim Lampley and Lance Pugmire return to cover the Benavidez-Andrade super middleweight clash in Las Vegas on PPV.COM.

Lampley and Pugmire premiered this past September for the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Jermell Charlo showdown. They recently signed an extension to host PPV.Com through 2024.

The boxing analysts will provide viewer chats and commentary on the Las Vegas fight card and was a hit with audiences.

No subscription is needed. The cost is $74.99 for the fight card that begins at 5 p.m. PT.

Speaking of PPV.Com they will also be covering the “KISS: End of the Road” concert on Saturday, Dec. 2, that takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

It’s the final concert for the legendary rock band.

I may be watching this. Years ago, I worked at a newsstand on Robertson Blvd. in West L.A. and would often encounter Gene Simmons and his spouse Shannon Tweed. That newsstand was a stopping point for entertainers of all kinds including Prince, Lennie Kravitz, Henry Mancini, Lionel Ritchie, Joe Montana, Milton Berle, Chaka Khan, Victoria Principal and so many others.
