Boxing News: KO Chicago Radio Airs Wednesday Night on AM 1530
KO Chicago Radio and Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions, home of THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING, is proud to present Hall of Fame Trainer Jesse Reid and Chicago's hottest female prospect Rita Figueroa at 6pm tonight on AM-1530.
Reid, one of the most knowledgeable men in boxing, will speak about his charge, Lamon Brewster, as he finishes preparations for his heavyweight championship bout with Andrew Golota on May 21st at the United Center in Chicago. He also will join in the discussion of the Diego Corrales/Jose Luis Castillo bout, the state of the heavyweight division, the upcoming Felix Trinidad/Winky Wright PPV and Chicago's own Al “Speedy” Gonzales. In his illustrious career, Jesse has trained numerous world champions including Johnny Tapia and Paul Spadafora.
Rita Figueroa has quickly become Chicago's hottest female prospect with her crowd-pleasing style and heavy hands. Rita will speak on her upcoming fight plans as well as upcoming major women's bouts including the upcoming Million Dollar Lady bout between Lucia Rijker and Christy Martin.
