August 4 Broadway Boxing Hits the Airwaves
NEW YORK (August 11, 2005) – Madison Square Garden Network (MSG) and Fox Sports Net New England (FSNNE) have announced eight air dates for DiBella Entertainment's latest installment of Broadway Boxing from the Grand Ballroom at Manhattan Center.
The card features undefeated knockout artist Jaidon “The Don” Codrington (9-0, 9 KOs) of Queens, along with fellow unbeaten “Chin Checker,” Brooklyn's Curtis “Showtime” Stevens (8-0, 7 KOs), Emmanuel “Sleek” Clottey (23-6, 14 KOs) of the Bronx, and Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin (2-0, 2 KOs) of Manhattan round out the card.
MSG will air Broadway Boxing's latest installment on Saturday, August 13th at 7 PM; Sunday, August 14th at 12 AM and 8 AM; Saturday, August 20th at 8 PM; Sunday, August 21st at 12 AM; and Sunday, August 28th at 2 AM and 8 AM.
The bouts can also be seen at 8 PM on Saturday, August 13th on FSNNE.
The broadcasts will feature Codrington's bout with Levan Easley (17-12-2, 8 KOs) for the vacant New York State Super Middleweight Title, Stevens squaring off in a super middleweight contest against another Brooklyn native, Jason Quick (4-1-1, 3 KOs), Clottey, who returns to the ring after a ten month hiatus against Marteze Logan (20-17-2, 5 KOs), as well as Quillin facing Antwuan Hedgemond (0-1) in a middleweight bout.
