Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis Wants Tough Fights
Cestus Management's unbeaten junior welterweight “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis made a successful return to the ring on Friday, September 2nd with a wide 10-round decision over a game Marteze Logan.
“We're very satisfied with Mighty Mike's performance,” says Arnoutis’ advisor Mike Michael. “Marteze Logan is a tough fighter, he's a difficult fighter, he's made a difficult fight for a lot of top fighters – Hector Camacho Jr., Jesse James Leija, Steve Forbes. Taking into account that 'Mighty' Mike had been out of the ring for over six months, we all feel he did exactly what he was supposed to do.
“We're not looking for any easy fights at this point. We want to put Mighty Mike right back where he was before his injury – right back on the top of the game. Juan Urango is the name in my mind right now. Juan Urango is the guy we want. We want to get Mighty Mike back in with Urango and let them settle things once and for all, and Mighty Mike is more than ready for it.
“This is my message for the 140-pound division: ‘Mighty’ Mike Arnaoutis has an opening for an opponent, and I am accepting all applications. We had our injury, we had our return fight, now we're ready to jump back in, and I want to put everyone at 140 pounds – and especially Juan Urango – on notice. We're back, and we're looking for tough fights and tough fighters – right now!”
