Boxing News: John Duddy Fights Saturday
WOBURN, Mass. (September 15, 2005) – Ireland’s John Duddy (11-0, 10 KOs) headlines Saturday night’s “Mayhem in Mansfield” pro boxing show at the Dana Barros Sports Complex in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
“Mayhem in Mansfield” is promoted by New England Ringside Promotions in association with Irish Ropes and Cedric Kushner Productions.
Duddy takes on former WBC Fecarbox light middleweight champion Joseph “The Assassin” Brady (13-4-1, 6 KOs) from Albuquerque (NM) in the eight-round main event.
In the eight round co-feature, light heavyweight Derrick “Double Impact” Whitley (22-23-3, 11 KOs) faces Dhafir “No Fear” Smith (13-10-2, 3 KOs).
The scheduled heavyweight bout between former Boston College football star Derric Rossy and Joseph Kenneth has been cancelled because Rossy re-injured a cut over his eye in training camp. Packie Collins also is off the card.

All bouts and fighters are subject to change.
Former pro boxer “Iron” Mike Pusateri and longtime boxing writer Charlie Ross will be honored separately for their outstanding contributions to boxing over the years.
