Amateur Boxing: Amir Khan Conqueror set to Continue
Recent reports in the Cuban media suggest that Olympic boxing champion, Mario Kindelan plans to return to the ring in 2005.
After defeating British boxing sensation, Amir Khan at last year's Olympics, Kindelan had announced his retirement from the amateur boxing scene. It was Kindelan's second straight Olympic boxing gold medal.
Now, Kindelan says he will compete in a world competition in Moscow in June.
“I am motivated, and without worries about my future plans,” he said. “I am going to increase my training.”
