Audley Harrison Wins In A.C.
A-Force back on the comeback trail
A one-time a candidate for the future of the heavyweight division but now fighting to be taken seriously, Audley Harrison (20-2, 15 KOs), after back-to-back losses to Danny Williams and Dominic Guinn, is on the comeback trail.
On Friday night at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, the British 2000 Olympic gold medal winner took on Andrew Greeley (11-14-2, 7 KOs), who had lost 4 of his last 5 going in, and stopped the Louisiana native at 2:32 of round three.
The bout was Harrison’s first not to be televised, an indication of just how low under the radar he is flying these days, even though it was his first fight under the tutelage of a new trainer, the esteemed Buddy McGirt.
