Marquez-Bradley Media Tour Kicks Off Thursday
LAS VEGAS, NEV. (June 11, 2013) —Undefeated World Boxing Organization (WBO) junior welterweight champion TIMOTHY BRADLEY Jr., four-division world champion and Méxican icon JUAN MANUEL MÁRQUEZ, Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum and Zanfer Promotions' Fernando Beltran will formally announce their world championship event with a two-country media tour. The tour will kick-off with a news conference luncheon on Thursday, June 20, in the Crystal Ballroom at The Beverly Hills Hotel (9641 Sunset Blvd., Beverly Hills, Calif. 90210), beginning at 11:30 a.m. PT. The tour will conclude the following day, Friday, June 21, with a news conference in México City. Details for México City will be announced soon.
Bradley (30-0, 12 KOs), of Palm Springs, Calif., and Márquez (55-6-1, 40 KOs), of México City, enter this World Junior Welterweight Championship fight fresh from Fight of the Year caliber performances.
Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Zanfer Promotions, Wynn Las Vegas, Márquez Boxing, and Tecate, Bradley vs. Márquez will take place Saturday, October 12 at the Thomas & Mack Center, on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View®, beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT.
