CBS SPORTS NETWORK TO PREMIERE CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING SERIES
FINAL FORUM BOXING and THE GALLERY STUDIO GROUP, LLC, announced today that CBS Sports Network will televise its premiere “RINGSIDE RED CARPET” Boxing Series. Each two-hour live telecast will feature at least two fights.
The first event will be held on Saturday, December 13 at 8:00 PM, ET. Each title fight will be centered on a Main Event with multiple undercard bouts, and also feature live entertainment stage performances. In the first event, NABO Heavyweight Champion Charles Martin is scheduled to defend his title. The opening bout is scheduled to include rising star Mike Lee, in addition to other boxers to be announced at a later date.
“Ringside Red Carpet will feature high level boxing, along with the spectacle and big-event feel to each event,” said Twenty-Year Veteran Boxing Promoter Sal Musumeci. “We are thrilled to have CBS Sports Network showcase the action to a national television audience.”
“This event will not only bring exciting boxing to fans, but also top-of-the line entertainment and festivities,” said Mark Lipsky, a Hollywood Producer (Nutty Professor, Another 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop III, Boomerang, Coming to America and the Original Arsenio Hall Show, etc.).
