McGuinness On The BoxingChannel.com Feb. 19
Boxingchannel.com will televise live and free of charge the return to the ring of former WBC Light Welterweight World Champion, Junior Witter making his debut at welterweight against Victor Lupo this Saturday, February 19th. The full night of boxing will begin at 8 p.m. EST and also include NABA Lightweight Champion Logan McGuinness defending his title against Hector Julio Avila.

Witter, who was the WBC Light Welterweight Champion, will be fighting for the first time since losing in a title match with Devon Alexander on August 1, 2009. This Sheffield, England product will take on Victor Lupo, who comes in with an 18-1 record. Witter, 37-3-2, is hoping to get one more shot at a world title and Lupo is a tough test for his first fight back.
The 23 year old McGuinness is 13-0. He won the NABA title by beating Buzz Grant and defended it against Adrian Verdugo. Both of those matches were seen on BoxingChannel.com. McGuinness takes on the hard hitting Avila who has 42 knockouts in 47 professional wins. This card is promoted by United Promotions and will be televised in Canada on Rogers Sportsnet.
