FOR MAGDALENO TITLE FIGHT
IN LAS VEGAS ON JULY 15
Diego Magdaleno of Las Vegas will defend his NABF Junior Lightweight title when he takeson Alejandro Perez of Salinas, Calif. on a Top Rank title card at the Texas Station Gambling Hall and Casino on North Rancho Drive in Las Vegas on Friday, July 15.
This will be the second title defense for Magdaleno, 19-0-1. Diego's younger brother Jesse, anunbeaten super bantamweight, will be featured on the undercard. Diego and Jesse are trained by Pat Berry and Augie 'Kid Vegas' Sanchez.
Tickets are $50, $35 plus applicable taxes, fees and are available at all Stations Casinos Rewards Centers, stationcasinos.com or call 702-547-5300.
Magdaleno vs. Perez and Casey Ramos vs. Jose Collado will be televised live on ShoBox – The New Generation. First bell will be 6 pm. The ShoBox telecast is live 8:05 pm.

World middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and his two younger brothers Omar and Christian are off to Canastota, N.Y. to see their father El Grande Champion
Julio Cesar Chavez get inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame. Bob Arum will be there as well. A huge number of Mexican media will be at the official induction ceremony on Sunday.

Christy Martin had surgery in Los Angeles to repair her fractured right hand. Thenumber three, four fingers and her small finger were broken when she struck Dakota Stone in their bout last Saturday on the Zbik vs. Chavez Jr fight card at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. Christy said she wants to continue to box and go for her 50th pro win.

On Top Rank Live! super welterweight Jose Pinzon – who had that knockdown war against Pavel Wolak last year in Anaheim – is in the main event Saturday.
Pinzon will take on Edvan Dos Santos Barros of Brazil in Merida, Mexico. Fox Deportes will televise live beginning 10 pm eastern
