PIERS MORGAN STEPS INTO THE RING WITH BOXING CHAMPIONS OSCAR DE LA HOYA AND VICTOR ORTIZ

LOS ANGELES (August 30, 2011) – CNN prime time talk show host Piers Morgan will step into the sport of boxing as the Wednesday, August 31 edition of “Piers Morgan Tonight” features a visit with WBC Welterweight World Champion Victor Ortiz and all-time boxing great Oscar de la Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions and Ortiz's promoter. Morgan goes in-depth with Ortiz and discusses the path that has led him to reach his current training camp as he prepares for his world title defense against pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather on September 17.
The program airs exclusively on CNN, Wednesday, August 31 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT and again at midnight ET/PT.
