Oleg Maskaev Back in Training
A note from Oleg Maskaev's manager, Fred Kesch: “Oleg is in training and challenges any of the heavyweights to fight him, a former WBC Heavyweight Champion of the World. It is interesting that neither of the Klitschko brothers will fight him, since he stopped Vitali in the first round when they were both amateur stars. As a matter of fact, several years ago, at the last moment, Wladimir would not sign a very lucrative, negotiated contract for a championship fight to take place in Russia.”
The 42 year-old Maskaev last fought in December 2009. He was stopped by Nagy Aguilera in round one.
