“Fight Game” To Feature Talks With Arum, Schaefer, Khan
THE FIGHT GAME WITH JIM LAMPLEY, HBO SPORTS BOXING PROGRAM HOSTED BY THE FOUR-TIME SPORTS EMMY® WINNER, DEBUTS SATURDAY, MAY 12
THE FIGHT GAME WITH JIM LAMPLEY, a provocative, engaging and informative experience that delves into intriguing storylines, newsmakers and issues that are top-of-mind in boxing, debuts SATURDAY, MAY 12 (midnight-12:30 a.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, with other editions scheduled to appear periodically. Four-time Sports Emmy® winner Lampley has been the host of HBO Boxing since joining the network in 1988.
Headlining the series’ launch will be separate interviews with boxing promoters Bob Arum (Top Rank) and Richard Schaefer (Golden Boy Promotions); an interview with British boxing star Amir Khan and his trainer Freddie Roach regarding the cancellation of Khan’s May 19th rematch with Lamont Peterson; guest segments with Roy Jones Jr. and Max Kellerman; and Lampley’s first-ever “Gatti List” compilation (boxing’s most entertaining fighters).
