Martinez, Chavez Grand Arrivals Are Open To Public

LAS VEGAS, NEV. (September 10, 2012) — Undefeated World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion and Son of the Legend, JULIO CÉSAR CHÁVEZ JR., 46-0-1, 32 KOs), of Culiacán, México, and two-division world champion and pound for pound kingpin with the matinee idol looks, SERGIO “Maravilla” MARTÍNEZ (49-2-2, 28 KOs), of Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina, will make their Las Vegas Grand Arrivals to officially kickoff Fight Week, Tomorrow! Tuesday, September 11, at the South Valet Entrance of Wynn Las Vegas (3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, Nev. 89109.) Open to the public, Martínez will arrive at 12:30 p.m. PT, followed by Chávez Jr. at 1:00 p.m. PT.Chávez Jr. and Martínez are six days away from their historic Méxican Independence Day Weekend world championship showdown.
Promoted by Top Rank®, Zanfer Promotions and DiBella Entertainment, in association with Wynn Las Vegas, AT&T and Tecate, the Chávez Jr. vs. Martínez Middleweight Championship Event will take place Saturday, September 15, Méxican Independence Day Weekend, at the Thomas & Mack Center, on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View®, beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT. The live pay-per-view undercard will feature four exciting bouts.
