Dierry Jean defends his NABF title
Live boxing returns to The Boxing Channelwith an October 26th show featuring light welterweight world contender Dierry Jean.
The 22-0 Jean, ranked 5th in the world by the WBC, will take on Ivan Cano (21-4) in the main event of a six fight card presented by Eye Of The Tiger Management. The card will begin at 7 p.m. (EST) and all fights will be streamed live exclusively on www.boxingchannel.tv.Part of the Fight Club series, the card will be held at the Holiday Inn in Point Claire, Quebec in Canada.
International Boxing Hall of Famer Al Bernstein, also Executive Producer of the Boxing Channel, will call the action along with talented Canadian broadcaster Corey Erdman. Bernstein said, “This is a great opportunity for boxing fans to see Dierry Jean, who is on the verge of a title shot in the 140 pound division–the hottest division in boxing. He's a very talented fighter, facing a good test in Cano. We're delighted that The Boxing Channel can team up with Eye of The Tiger Management to give fans around the world a chance to see Jean fight. “
The card will also feature undefeated lightweight prospect Ghislain Maduma taking on Sidney Siqueira and former Canadian amateur phenom Tyler Asselstine taking his 10-0 pro record into a match with Ramiro Campos.
