VERONA, NY – Saturday's NBC Fight Night in the afternoon network TV boxing show will go on, as planned, whether or not former two time world champion Tomasz Adamek is able to participate in the main event. “This is live broadcast televsion,” said promoter Kathy Duva of Main Events. “We cannot simply postpone. Adamek has asked for a day to decide if he will feel up to fighting on Saturday. In the meantime, feelers have been sent out to numerous possible substitutes, Duva added. “If the worst happens, we will implement Plan B. Either way, we expect to make an announcement early tomorrow afternoon. The show must go on.”
