Bujaj: “I Don’t Want To Fight Bums!”
Bujaj ready for Wright in battle of undefeated Cruiserweights on May 15 in title fight at Millennium Theater in Brooklyn.
BROOKLYN, NY (May 9, 2014)–On Thursday, May 15 Cruiserweight prospect Steve Bujaj (12-0, 9 KO’s) looks to remain undefeated when he takes on fellow undefeated Junior Wright (10-0, 9 KO’s) in a 10-round fight for the WBC USNBC and the WBC International Cruiserweight titles.
The 23-year old native of Yonkers, New York has been training hard for the fight that could catapult him into title contention.
“I am just ready to fight. This is a big opportunity with a lot on the line and I am ready to take care of business,”said Buaj.
When asked about his opponent, Bujaj is ready for anything. “I don’t know much about him, but I trained as this was a world title bout.”
Very rarely in boxing, two undefeated fighters meet each other so early in their careers but Bujaj is a throwback fighter willing to take on all comers.
“I am not like any other fighter out there. I am willing to risk it all and I don’t want to fight bums. I want to take chances and prove myself. After this, I wont be behind and ultimately I want to fight WBC champion Krzystolf Wlodarczyk for the WBC title.
“I am ready to put on a show Thursday night,”said Buaj.
