Robb and Silva To Debut on SAT. Card
This Saturday’s HOLLYWOOD FIGHT NIGHT 11 card will feature two recent signees by Top Rank, Guy Robb (15-1, 7KOs) and William Silva (21-0, 12KOs), attempting to impress their new promoter.
Guy Robb (15-1, 7KOs)
Sacramento’s Robb was a standout amateur and has already built up a reputation as an aggressive, fan-pleasing pugilist who is always in exciting fights. Since his lone loss in an entertaining bout with fellow blue chip prospect Joel Diaz Jr., Robb has won 8 bouts in a row.
William Silva (21-0, 12KOs)
Sao Paulo’s Silva carries the nickname “Baby Face”, but it is the Brazilian’s tough and rugged style that intrigued Top Rank to have him join Olympic medalist and fellow Brazilian Esquiva Falcao in their stable. A heralded amateur, Silva also captured the WBO Latin American lightweight and Brazilian featherweight titles. Silva will look to impress his new promoter against an equally motivated Adam Mate (15-4, 8KOs). After 19 bouts in Europe, Mate has made the long trip from Hungary to also make a name for himself in the States.
HOLLYWOOD FIGHT NIGHT 11 takes place on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Florentine Gardens Hollywood, located at 5955 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, California. Tickets can be purchased online at www.hollywoodfightnight.com or by calling
