Rich Komissar/Tommy Gallagher Show To Run Dec. 15 in Jersey
NORTH BEGEN, NEW JERSEY (December 6, 2011)—On Thursday night December 15th, Rich Komissar Promotions will put on his first show in his scheduled boxing series dubbed “Tommy Gallagher’s Winners Have Scars” boxing series at Schuetzen Park in North Bergen, New Jersey.
The series is designed to showcase local talent from the Tri-State area while putting the combatants in competitive and crowd pleasing fights.
Scheduled to appear will be Peruvian Jr. Lightweight Carlos Zambrano in an eight round fight.
Zambrano of North Bergen, New Jersey by way of Chinchia, Peru sports a perfect mark of 13-0 with seven knockouts..
The twenty-seven year old has faced veteran competition in both the United States and Brazil and is coming off a 2nd round stoppage over Roberto Santos De Jesus (11-3) on April 16th.
Zambrano’s opponent will be announced shortly
Also appearing will be popular Jr. Welterweight Danny MacDermott in a six round bout against Bryan Abraham.
MacDermott of Jersey City, New Jersey has a record of 8-3 with three knockouts and brings great fan base which undoubtedly will be at Schuetzen Park to support their man.
MacDermott will be fighting his first battle with his new trainer Tommy Gallagher.
Abraham of Schenectady, New York has a deceiving record of 5-9-2 with all of his wins coming by knockout.
Abraham has scored major knockout upsets over Dominic DeSanto (5-0-1); Scott Burrell (3-0) and Jonathan Vazquez (4-0-1).
In a six round Lightweight bout, Italian Floriano Pagliara (11-4-3, 6 KO’s) of Brooklyn, New York via Italy will take on Bryne Green of Vineland, NJ.
Pagliara has a great story as he left his family in Italy to pursue his dream of becoming a world champion has some quality over the likes of Antonio Espinoza (11-0) and his last bout which was a twelve round unanimous decision over Istavan Nagy (17-9) to win the Mediterranean Super Featherweight title.
Green has a record of 7-5-1 with three knockouts takes on all comers and has some great wins over Ryan Belasco (14-4-3) and then undefeated knockout artist Tyrone Luckey (4-0)
Undefeated Colombian Cruiserweight Santander Silgado (18-0, 16 KO’s) will make his much anticipated American debut when he takes on Glen Williams (7-5-1, 4 KO’s) of Catonsville, MD in a six round bout.
Rafael Vazquez (6-0, 4 KO’s) of Brooklyn, NY will square off with Shawn Nichol (5-7, 5 KO’s) of Lakewood, Colorado in a six round Featherweight bout.
In a four round Jr. Middleweight bout, Thomas Baldwin (2-0-1, 1 KO) battles debuting Dominique Foster of Hilliard, Ohio
In a four round Lightweight bout, Ian James (1-1, 1 KO) of Brooklyn, NY faces Sidell Blocker (1-5-1) of Pleasantville, NJ
Danny Terrill of Long Island, NY will be making his pro debut against Daniel Crabtree (1-3, 1 KO) of Hilliard, Ohio in a four round Welterweight bout
Ramon Santos (0-2) of Harlem, New York will face Jonathan Caban (0-2) of Queens, NY in a four round Jr. Lightweight bout.
