Adamek To Fight Nagy Aguilera

Former World Light Heavyweight and Cruiserweight Champion Tomasz Adamek will face “Dominican Dynamite” Nagy Aguilera of Newburgh, New York on Saturday, March 24th at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn on the undercard to Zab Judah's Homecoming bout against Detroit's Undefeated Vernon Paris.
Known as “Goral” or “The Highlander” in his native Poland, Adamek (44-2, 28 KO's) has been out of action since September when he and Heavyweight Champion Vitali Klitschko drew over 42,000 to witness their fight in a soccer stadium in Wroclaw. In Aguilera (17-6, 12 KO's) the always explosive Adamek will face a big puncher who has scored all 12 of his knock out wins within the first four rounds. Born in the Dominican Republic, the 25-year old traveled to Houston, Texas in his most recent bout, scoring an exciting third round TKO of hometown favorite Stacy Frazier. |
Tickets to the blockbuster triple-header, priced at $200, $100 and $75 and may be purchased by calling Peltz Boxing, (215) 765-0922, or online through www.peltzboxing.com. The non-televised undercard fights will begin at 7:30 p.m., the NBC Sports Network Fight Night broadcast will begin at 10 p.m. ET on Mar 24th.
The Aviator Sports and Events Center offers free parking. You can also take public transportation via the Q35 MTA bus from the Flatbush Avenue/Brooklyn College subway station.
